What types of loactions can I photograph?
Common locations include ancestral homes and farms, churches, graveyards, schools, workplaces, military sites and landscapes connected to your families story. If you're unsure whether a location is possible, just get in touch and I'll be happy to advise.
Don't know the exact location?
That's often part of the service, I can investigate using records, maps, old photographs and family information to try and identify the locationbefore arranging a visit.
Travel time and fuel are always clearly quoted in advance. Combining multiple locations on one trip usually saves on travel costs.
Reassuring note on additional costs
Certain external records may occasionally involve additional charges. Official birth, marriage or death certificates may sometimes be required to positively confirm that the correct individual has been identified and these are charged separately at cost.
Some Scottish genealogy records operate on a pay-per-view basis, and those costs are also charged separately at cost.
